Kamon spoke in honeyed tones as the loudspeakers spread over the island amplified his voice. A productive start to The Program was the exact sort of opening he lived to witness.
"It's six o'clock, and time for the first report! I am going to read out the deceased in the order that they died:
Boy #12, Yutaka Seto!
Girl #5, Izumi Kanai!
Girl #1, Mizuho Inada!
Boy #9, Hiroshi Kuronaga!
Boy #8, Yoji Kuramoto!
Boy #18, Tadakatsu Hatagami!
Congratulations! You're setting an excellent pace! Now for the danger zones! Mark the following zones down on your maps:
C-04, J-02, and I-06.
These zones will soon become restricted. Evacuate them imediately or your collars will explode. I haven't ever had my neck ripped in two pieces, but I imagine it would hurt real bad!

((OOC: Okay guys, first things first, ######### haven't posted for their characters yet, and as a result, ############ are now NPCs. Inactivity sweeps will happen every other report from now on, so expect the next sweep in report 3. If you're going to have trouble getting something up in this time, PLEASE LET US KNOW. Either use the OOC comm, or speak to one of us direct, but if you're going to have a valid excuse, we need to hear about it.
Anyway, now the game turns up a notch! PC VOTES ARE NOW OPEN. You are now permitted to make attempts on any character in the game. Please refer to the rules concerning this. In short though, remember that you should be basing your votes on whether the character is well/badly written, fleshed-out, enjoyable to read, the quality of interaction with other characters, that sort of thing.
DO NOT base your votes on inactivity, whether you like/dislike a certain character or player in their own regard, a desire to see the number of players decrease, tactical votes, or anything along those lines. Also... "too long; didn't read" is not a valid vote reason either, because people do put a lot of energy into writing that stuff. If you find it hard to follow, that is writing ability, but if you lost interest halfway through... well, you get the idea. Anyway, please refer to the rules either way.
